There are different methods of adding hair extensions, most known as clip in, bonding or sealing, or weaves.

Clip in hair extensions are probably the easiest and most pain free ways of adding new layers or length to your hair. As you can imagine they have clips on it and they are simply added to the rest of your hair from the neck and working to the top of your head. Bonding or sealing extensions are a bit more complicated to use as they are mixed with the real hair and then sealed with an agent that acts as glue. They usually last a couple of months before the person notices that they are starting to lose the applied hair so it can be a little upsetting.

Another more long lasting solution is weaving your hair so the hair is somehow sewn between your natural hairs. However, this can be a little unhealthy and might make you lose a lot of your natural hair because the extensions will drag down your hair.

Nails are as important as clothes when it comes to fashion; you can’t have pretty clothes and bad nails, it will ruin your whole outfit. This is why it’s so important to make sure that your nails look the best.

Round nails – lately, rectangular nails were a big trend but it seems that the fashion is going to opt this winter for a more feminine and classy look. Round nails are extremely elegant and you find them more comfortable than other nail shapes because they feel and look natural.

French manicure – I know this was a big trend a few years ago and then people started hating it but for all the French manicure lovers out there, the good news is that it’s coming back. However, it’s not what one would expect and it’s definitely not that natural look we all have in our heads when we think about French manicure. This is reinvented and it has crazy dark colors. So instead painting your nails with pink or beige and putting white on the tips, you will have to paint them dark red, black, blue. You can also try the other way around which is even crazier and more fashionable, paint them with a bright color and use a dark color on the tip.

Unusual combinations – Another trend is combining colors that you normally wouldn’t. For example, combining brown with blue, red and purple, or yellow and brown. Create a unique look by making a French manicure with those colors or find the colors that suit you.

Blue – Blue is going to be extremely hot. We already saw it on the catwalk in handbags, shoes and jewelry trends so it’s normal to see it on our nails. Dark blue is the hottest so make sure that you have a dark blue nail polish. If you don’t like dark colors, an aqua matte blue will be super trendy and will definitely match the cold weather outside.

Crackle effects – Crackle effects on your nails were quite trendy in the summer and the trend will continue until winter at least. So, you can use the crackle nail polishes you got this summer or buy some in trendy colors. A great idea would be to use crackle with dark blue and light blue, combining the pattern and the trendiest color of the season.

These are just some of the main trend you will see this winter; however, don’t let these trends limit you and make sure that you express yourself through your nails, despite being trendy or not.
